Orcas (killer whales) are the largest member of the dolphin family.
With their distinctive black and white patterning and huge dorsal fins, a pod of orcas swimming thru the sea is something spectacular.
Orcas hunt in packs, co-ordinating their attacks on their prey which includes fish, seals, dolphins, sharks, rays, whales, penguins, octopuses and squids.
Killer Whales like dolphins sleep with half of their brain and are semi awake so the can breathe.
